Dr. William Giancoulas,BSc (Hons), DC

Dr. Giancoulas is a graduate of Queen’s University and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, receiving Magna Cum Laude honours. He is also a graduate of the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University.


Dr. Giancoulas is experienced in treating both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He takes an active interest in exercise physiology, nutrition, sport injuries and performance optimization. When not working at the clinic, you can find him engaged in volleyball, baseball, golf, hockey or swimming.​Dr. Giancoulas has taken part in both local and global health care initiatives He has provided chiropractic care to low-income communities within the Dominican Republic and at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. These experiences were both culturally insightful and clinically invaluable.  Treatment of many injuries/disorders including; post-stroke rehabilitation, diabetic, arthritic, neurodegenerative, neuropediatric, endemic and chronic disease.


Dr. Giancoulas also plays an active role in organizing community events throughout Scarborough; generating donations for local charitable organizations (Native Child and Family Services, Rosalie Hall, Birkdale Residence).

Dr. Ali Smith,
DC, DACBR, FCCR(C)

After completing 3 years at Dalhousie University, Dr. Smith was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) for a 4 year undergraduate program. During her time at CMCC she fell in love with radiology and decided to pursue further education after becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2018. She entered a challenging three year Diagnostic Imaging Residency at CMCC where she was able to work alongside a medical radiologist and spinal surgeon. After successfully completing two board examinations, Dr. Smith became a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Radiology (DACBR), and a Fellow of the Chiropractic College of Radiology, Canada (FCCR(C)). 

 

Dr. Smith completed an original thesis project looking at the adherence of imaging guidelines at a chiropractic college (publication in Chiropractic and Manual Therapies), and has been a co-author on multiple other published papers.

Today you can find Dr. Smith treating and training patients at MOVE chiropractic, or providing imaging consulting services to chiropractors and health professionals.
