Dr. Giancoulas is a graduate of Queen’s University and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, receiving Magna Cum Laude honours. He is also a graduate of the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program at McMaster University.
Dr. Giancoulas is experienced in treating both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He takes an active interest in exercise physiology, nutrition, sport injuries and performance optimization. When not working at the clinic, you can find him engaged in volleyball, baseball, golf, hockey or swimming.Dr. Giancoulas has taken part in both local and global health care initiatives He has provided chiropractic care to low-income communities within the Dominican Republic and at Anishnawbe Health Toronto. These experiences were both culturally insightful and clinically invaluable. Treatment of many injuries/disorders including; post-stroke rehabilitation, diabetic, arthritic, neurodegenerative, neuropediatric, endemic and chronic disease.
Dr. Giancoulas also plays an active role in organizing community events throughout Scarborough; generating donations for local charitable organizations (Native Child and Family Services, Rosalie Hall, Birkdale Residence).
Dr. Ali Smith

On Maternity Leave Until Spring 2026
After completing 3 years at Dalhousie University, Dr. Smith was accepted into the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) for a 4 year undergraduate program. During her time at CMCC she fell in love with radiology and decided to pursue further education after becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) in 2018. She entered a challenging three year Diagnostic Imaging Residency at CMCC where she was able to work alongside a medical radiologist and spinal surgeon. After successfully completing two board examinations, Dr. Smith became a Diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic Radiology (DACBR), and a Fellow of the Chiropractic College of Radiology, Canada (FCCR(C)).
Dr. Smith completed an original thesis project looking at the adherence of imaging guidelines at a chiropractic college (publication in Chiropractic and Manual Therapies), and has been a co-author on multiple other published papers.
Today you can find Dr. Smith treating and training patients at MOVE chiropractic, or providing imaging consulting services to chiropractors and health professionals.


Dr. Anastasia Armyros

Chiropractor
Dr. Anastasia Armyros holds an Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences in Kinesiology and Health Promotion from Sheridan College, where she developed expertise in strength and conditioning, coaching high-level athletes, including competitive hockey players. Her passion for sports and rehabilitation led her to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, where she earned her Doctor of Chiropractic.
Dr. Armyros employs an evidence-based, patient-centered approach, focusing on rehabilitation exercises, manual therapy, and acupuncture to support recovery and enhance performance. Her experience with rock climbing has deepened her understanding of treating related injuries, particularly those involving the shoulders, elbows, and wrists.
Outside of practice, Dr. Armyros enjoys rock climbing, strength training, hiking, and creative pursuits like card making and crafting.
Dr. David Dagher

Chiropractor
Dr. Dagher is a chiropractor with a strong background in personal training and a special interest in functional rehabilitation. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College where he completed four years of intensive clinical and academic training graduating with Magna Cum Laude distinction. Prior to that, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University, where he developed a foundation in human biology, health and performance. He is also a certified acupuncture provider with many hours spent mastering this skill.
Drawing on his experience as a personal trainer, Dr. Dagher emphasizes evidence-based care that integrates functional movement, rehabilitation, and individualized treatment plans. His goals are centered around helping patients restore mobility, build strength and return to the activities they love. His clinic philosophy focuses on empowering patients through education and active care strategies.
Outside of practice, Dr. Dagher maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys weight lifting, golfing, soccer, volleyball and other recreational sports. He is committed to helping limit pain and increase function using a wide array of evidence-based techniques. Today, Dr. Dagher is ready to help you achieve your goals and live a happier, healthier life.

Dr. Kareem Dessouki DC

Dr. Dessouki is a dedicated chiropractor who earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, graduating with Cum Laude distinction.
Throughout his career, Dr. Dessouki has gained extensive experience working with a diverse patient populations; including acute/chronic injuries, athletic performance and mobility. His focus on comprehensive assessment is designed to identify and correct the root cause of dysfunction and pain. This creates more long-term solutions and helps his patients achieve sustainable health improvements.
Dr. Dessouki believes that the best clinical outcomes are achieved through a partnership between the practitioner and the patient. He is committed to creating a welcoming environment where patients feel empowered to take an active role in their own recovery and well-being.

Guru graduated in 2018 from SRM Institute of Science and Technology with a Master of Physiotherapy (Sports) and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2016 at Annamalai University. In 2025, he completed additional courses to become certified in dry needling, spinal manipulation, and vestibular rehabilitation.
As a dedicated Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapist, he brings extensive experience and a passion for helping individuals achieve peak physical performance and recovery. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practice, Guru specializes in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and preventing injuries related to muscles, bones, and joints. His holistic approach combines manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education to ensure optimal outcomes.

Meet our Administrative Coordinator Victoria! She will be one of the first points of contact at our clinic. With a smile, she will ensure your experience at Move Chiropractic is smooth and stress-free. Victoria has a keen eye to detail, organization, and will be able to answer any administrative questions you may have.
Victoria is currently working towards her Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Health Studies with a double minor in Public Law & Psychology at the University of Toronto. When she isn’t studying or at the clinic, Victoria enjoys exploring new hiking trails, (her favourite so far is the Grand Canyon!), golfing, and playing guitar.
